From the North Sea to the Baltic Sea

After 10 years Kitesurf World Cup at the Ordinger Beach we can now confirm that the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup will take place at the Südstrand (South Beach) on Fehmarn in the next year (26.08 – 04.09.2016).

But first things first.

The change of some general conditions by the municipality and other public authorities made it economically impossible to realize the Kitesurf World Cup at the Ordinger Beach in 2016. So moving to a new spot with the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup was the logical step for us.

Germany’s third biggest island is the best kitesurf spot at the Baltic Sea and offers a lot of potential to extend the Kitesurf World Cup after ten years and intensify the typical world cup feeling.

New: Our campground. Here you will be able to sleep in your van or tent right at the event area, which gives the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup its own particular charm.

Go kitesurfing during sunset, just a stone’s throw away from your sleeping place under the stars. The regular evening parties aren’t far away, too. A large number of parking spots near the event area, 16 camping grounds, hotels and apartments around the island guarantee sufficient room and enough places to sleep.

With all in all 14 kite spots around the island, Fehmarn offers a wide range of possibilities for every type of kitesurfer. From amateur to professional.

On this map you will find an overview of the best spots:

So Fehmarn has everything the kitesurf heart could wish for and the potential to extend the Pringles Kitesurf World Cup. We are looking forward to the event and we hope that you will join us for a great premiere on the Südstrand (South Beach).
